Magic Hotels
Two ways to travel, one identity.
A new corporate website for a Mallorcan hotel chain with two very different properties: Can Picafort Palace, aimed at families, and Trendhotel Alcudia, an adults-only hotel.
The context
A new brand, a new website.
Magic Hotels needed to refresh its online presence. Its previous landing page didn’t quite convey the identity the chain wanted to project and, as it coincided with a brand redesign, it was the right moment to rethink the website.
The project was built on Clicktotravel’s structured website model, starting from an existing component library that had to be adapted to the new visual identity and to the needs of both hotels.
The challenge
Two experiences. One brand.
The challenge was to bring this duality into a single digital experience, letting each hotel keep its own personality without losing the chain’s visual consistency.

My contribution
From brand concept to digital experience.
During my time at Clicktotravel, I was in charge of designing the new Magic Hotels website, developing the visual proposal in Figma.
The project used a structure of predefined components, which I selected and arranged to fit the brand’s needs. My work involved defining the page structure, setting the content hierarchy and bringing Magic Hotels’ new visual identity into the digital space, keeping the experience consistent for both hotels.
Components
The design was built from an existing component library, selecting and combining the most suitable elements to create a website tailored to the Magic Hotels identity.

Design decisions
A structure that connects and sets apart.
01 | A shared identity
The website had to speak the same language as the new Magic Hotels identity. That shared visual language is what makes it recognisable as one brand, whichever hotel you’re looking at.
02 | Adapting components
Selecting and combining existing components made it possible to adapt the website structure to the Magic Hotels identity, while keeping the experience consistent across pages.
03 | Structure and hierarchy
The order of information, the layout of content and the choice of components in Figma all aimed to make navigation simple and help what matters on each page stand out.
The result
A new way to present Magic Hotels.
The new website replaced the old landing page and brings two hotels with different audiences together in one digital experience.

What I take away
This project let me go deeper into web design for brands with different audiences, especially content organisation, component choice and the importance of building digital experiences that stay true to an existing visual identity.
